一週間前、熊本に再び大きな地震が起き、今なお余震が続いています。地震により亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈りし、ご遺族の皆様にお悔やみを申し上げます。また、被災された皆様に心からお見舞い申し上げます。
この猛暑の中での避難と復旧活動は容易なことではありません。命を、健康を、最優先に安全にお過ごしください。一刻も早くインフラが復旧しますように。
人として、一専門家として、自分に何ができるのかを考え続け、行動に移してまいります。思いを馳せながら、身近な人たちと共有を続けていきます。
A week ago, another major earthquake struck Kumamoto, and aftershocks are still continuing.
I pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in the earthquake and offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I also extend my heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster.
Evacuating and carrying out recovery efforts amidst this intense heat is no easy task. Please prioritize your lives and health above all else, and stay safe. I sincerely hope that infrastructure services will be restored as soon as possible.
